At that moment I know that this person is going to be a great AKT who truly understands Kanban. A TTT class is not just another class. When you share everything you know of Kanban by teaching during a whole week (or two when online), bonds for life are made across the world. That is the true strength of Kanban University.”

In this talk, he will briefly summarize the model and reflect on its role as a coaching tool from a consultant’s perspective. He will also share one example from his practical application of the model in working with a client, a global logistics enterprise: How was the model applied in practical terms, which impact did it have on the service and how organizational constraints impact maturity.

Celebrating 10 Years of Kanban University

April 14, 2021 by Kanban University

As the seasons are changing for many of us around the world, the promise of warmer weather brings excitement and life into everything we do. For the team at Kanban University, we are taking the time to reflect on our incredible journey during the last decade.

10 years ago this week, Kanban University was formed. To say we have come a long way since then, is an understatement. From just a few founding members we have grown to more than 300 successful Accredited Kanban Trainers worldwide. We have introduced sought after credentials like the Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP) and Kanban Management Professional (KMP), and launched our advanced Kanban journey credentials like Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP) and Accredited Kanban Consultant (AKC).

In addition, we are incredibly proud of our popular global Conference Series and Kanban Leadership Retreats. These events allow likeminded Kanban enthusiasts to expand their knowledge and network with their peers on all things Kanban. While we had to put a halt on in-person conferences temporarily, we are excited to come back bigger and better next year and connect with all of you again.

Our consistent feedback from students is that Kanban has changed their lives for the better, and there is no greater compliment than that. The impact we are making on not just people’s work lives, but also their personal lives as a result, keeps us pushing forward and working harder than ever before.

Thank you to all of you for continuing to be part of our amazing community and changing lives with us. Here is to the next 10 years of Kanban innovation and growth!!

Cheers,

The Kanban University Team
